Customer Testimonials
What a few of our customers write about us
I’ve actually found it quite difficult to find a practitioner who does excellent prenatal massage - until I met Greg. As a bodyworker myself, who specializes in women’s health, I am incredibly picky. I know what I am seeking (because it’s what I provide and have deeply studied) and it’s not often that I am met in session with sort of deep care, compassion, safety and reverence that Greg shows to his clients. He knows his stuff! My currently very pregnant body is so grateful to have found him - pregnancy massage is so vital especially in the third trimester and Greg provides the best quality and efficacy of prenatal work that I have experienced in Sandpoint so far.
I tend to over do it in the running, biking, paddling, property work (North Idaho CrossFit) and Greg worked out all the tightness and toxins out of me. I love it when it’s slow, painfully deep, hard pressure that it hurts so good! He also does a very nice soft touch for those not looking for a massage workout! Very affordable, thoughtful and super nice! The aromatherapy and hot towels are such a nice added bonus! He continues to ask and learns you style and needs quickly! I highly recommend! My best massage in the last 10 years!
Greg is an amazing massage therapist with a gentle and kind soul! He was able to release years of tension in my body within one single full body session! I have never felt so relaxed and loose all throughout my body, it is truly an incredible feeling. I have intense knots throughout my body that require deep tissue techniques to break them up. Greg was able to apply enough pressure to my knots to loosen them up without making me feel like I’m getting split in half which is a feat in itself! I also chose to include a breast massage in our session as I struggle with tight pectoral muscles that put a strain on my shoulders and neck due to having thoracic outlet syndrome. I was a bit nervous at first as most would be due to the vulnerability of having your chest massaged, however, Greg did an excellent job at making sure I felt comfortable and safe throughout the experience. Although chest/breast massage is not a common massage modality due to the nature of it and the way that it is perceived by society, I felt completely safe in Greg’s professional and trained hands and I was able to really benefit from it! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has tight chest muscles or those who have breast related problems. Greg has a very informative section on his sight dedicated to breast/chest massage where you can find all of its different benefits and see if it would be something that could help you! Overall, I was very pleased with my massage from Greg and would recommend him as a massage therapist to anyone who is in need of a good massage from an experienced and professional massage therapist!
I’ve received years of bodywork after discovering my way back to my body through massage. Greg’s style sets his practice apart, and I could sense safety, care, and intentionality from the first touch. I’m lucky to feel comfortable with any gender of massage therapist, as long as they are conscientious and have a kind, curious, positive energy—and Greg radiates all of the above. As a person with CPTSD who’s also a runner and rock climber, I get massage to unwind and finally sync up my mind and body. The best massages also unlock those patterns of holding and soothe my incredibly knotted muscles and fascia. Greg’s approach to myofascial stretching and deep tissue work felt unique and extremely effective. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve walked away from the table disappointed—Greg’s work will not disappoint. Muscles are like children. If you just tell them to “let go! Stop being tight!” by going too fast and with too much pressure, they’ll rebel and at best remain painful, at worst seize up more. But Greg’s deliberate work gently coaxes your body into intense relaxation. If you’re on the fence, need sports massage, or feel like you’re just out of touch with your body, or if you’ve never experienced massage before, I 100% recommend you give Mountain Lake Therapy a try.

Best massage I've ever had.
Greg gives an awesome prenatal massage! He’s the talk of the town amongst me and my fellow pregnant friends.
Greg has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the massage world! I saw him as often as I possibly could during my pregnancy for prenatal massage & cannot recommend him enough.
Ladies I know you don't think about getting a massage that includes breast/chest but you should. I own a Thermography business and I specialize in breast imaging and breast health education. Greg is professional, knowledgeable and skilled in his profession and I will recommend him for my clients.
I have been searching for a masseuse who can work with me on my old hip/lower back injuries while also being attentive to my anxiety around physical touch due to childhood trauma. Greg is it. He does a wonderful job asking me what works for me and letting me be in control of what we work on. He is thoughtful and genuinely just a wonderful human being. I highly recommend him.
Greg is a skilled and caring therapist. It is very comfortable to have him work on me. He takes a lot of continuing education classes and improves with every class.
I have been working with Greg for several months. He is a genuine person and a very professional masseuse. I have had massages for years off and on, and I have not experienced such a release of tension in my problem areas until I started working with Greg. Book a massage and you won’t regret it. He is wonderful at listening and being attentive to what is needed.
Greg is an amazing and gifted massage therapist! As a massage therapist myself I get my share of shoulder and neck stiffness and pain. Greg honed in on the muscles causing my pain and I'm still pain free since my session on Monday. Thank you!
I usually like to book massages at night because of how relaxing it is, but I booked a massage with Greg in the morning, and it was amazing how it opened up my day. I go into a massage looking for that space of surrender, where I get to let go and connect with my body, safely and in tune with the massage therapist—Greg makes all of this happen so gently, with such keen intuition. It’s sort of like listening to live music. You’re in the hands of the musician, and if you let it carry you, Greg will give you exactly what you need. I enjoy deep tissue massages, and Greg will definitely go there, but he also uses other methods and modalities like shaking, rocking, stretching, the whole combination. We don’t talk much during. He lets me lead. if I want to talk, we do, but if I need to, he lets me just drop in to that almost Shamanic, silent space where we’re communicating through the language of massage. He tunes in to that and is super respectful. I got off the table in the morning feeling energized, clear, focused, and present. As a mental health practitioner, connecting with myself through massage helped me to be more connected to my clients. I actually recommend him to my clients because he creates such an unbelievably safe space.
As a massage therapist myself, I’m really particular. I like Ashiatsu massage (where the therapist uses their feet). I’ve found with Greg, he doesn’t have to use feet to go really deep and achieve what I’m looking for. I’ve been working with Greg for some time, as a mentor, and now just receiving what he has to give. Energetically, more than anything, I feel him tune in to my body so that I can let go and enter this deep place of complete relaxation. We don’t talk a lot on the table. If I have something going on in a certain area, I’ll let him know. Otherwise, I just let him go with whatever he intuitively feels my body needs. I think people who are really sensitive would find the experience incredibly safe. If you’re new to massage, or trying him out, my advice would be to allow him to just be with your body and let him be free. Don’t try to shape the experience. He’ll get it right. Give him feedback as you go, but trust his intuitive ability to listen to your body.
Greg is a talented and intuitive massage therapist. He’s strong but gentle. His style of massaging has helped tight muscles release and resolve long-standing neck and back pain that I’ve had. He’s an excellent communicator and that makes it feel very safe to talk and work with him. I always leave feeling relaxed, peaceful, and I sleep well. I feel the benefits of his massages for days.
Daily tensions and a childhood neck injury leave me stiff and sore. Greg listened and directed his firm yet sensitive touch to my neck and shoulders. His healing and soothing technique leaves my entire mind and body floating in complete relaxation.
Wonderful experience. Greg is very conscientious and deliberate, asking about how you're feeling at appropriate times and trying to make space for you to "zen out." His approach with me was slow and thoughtful, with an emphasis on myofascial stretching and deep (but not painful) tissue, which works well with my body.
Greg listened very carefully when I explained my injuries and body pains. He massaged all my trouble spots plus a full body massage. He also helped stretch my IT Band that was giving me trouble. I had skied that day and thought I'd be too sore to ski another day. But the day after my massage I skied and felt great. The studio was very quiet and soothing. Everything was perfect!
Greg gives 110% effort. I had one of the most pleasant massages in a long time. He listens to your needs and knowledge of the human body is evident.
Greg is an excellent therapist. He mobilized my chronically stiff neck and worked on my areas of concern. Not only does he do a great job, but he listens well and appreciates feedback from his clients. I wish I lived closer so I could see him regularly.
This was both incredibly relaxing and helped a lot with lower back and hip pain that I've been having. I can't recommend Greg enough.
Greg is very professional and proficient in his massage therapy skills. He listened closely to what I needed worked on and followed through beautifully. I enjoy his slow and steady pace when working deep tissue!
